About vapes.wiki

vapes.wiki is an independent reference to the vape brands, devices and flavors sold in the US, written for adults 21 and over who want the facts on one page.

What vapes.wiki Is

vapes.wiki is a reference, not a store. It sells nothing, takes no payment from any maker or shop, and links to no store.

Each brand page covers who makes the brand, its devices and its standing with US regulators. Each device page covers the maker's specs, the full flavor list and the device's legal status.

How vapes.wiki Checks Specs and Flavors

Specs and flavors on vapes.wiki come from the maker's own product pages. Puff counts are written as the maker's claim, because they are measured by the maker under its own test conditions and real use varies.

When the maker publishes nothing for a figure, the page leaves it out rather than guessing. Every page shows the date it was last checked.

How vapes.wiki Sorts Flavors into Families

vapes.wiki sorts every flavor into one of seven families by the main flavor in its name: mint and ice, berry, tropical, fruit, candy, dessert and drinks, and tobacco.

An ice version stays with its fruit, so Watermelon Ice is a fruit flavor, while a mint or menthol flavor goes to mint and ice. A flavor name that could fit two families goes to the first one that matches in that order: tobacco, dessert and drinks, mint, candy, tropical, berry, then fruit.

Legal status on vapes.wiki comes only from primary records: FDA marketing orders, import alerts and warning letters, state attorney general directories, and court filings. News reports are used for dates and context, and are named as the source.

A device page that says a product is not FDA authorized means the FDA has not issued it a marketing order. That is the rule for selling a vape in the US, and it is separate from state rules, which can be stricter.

US Vape Rules in Brief

US vape rules in brief: a vape needs an FDA marketing order to be sold legally, many states add their own product lists and flavor bans, and federal law sets the age and shipping rules. Each rule below links to its source.

FDA Marketing Orders

FDA marketing orders became the gate for vapes when the FDA's deeming rule took effect on August 8, 2016.1 A product needs a marketing granted order to be sold legally, and a product without one, including a product with a marketing denial order, cannot legally be sold across state lines.2 The FDA's list of authorized e-cigarettes had 48 products when it was last updated on August 28, 2026.

State Product Directories

State product directories list the vapes that stores in a state may sell, and products missing from a list can be seized. Pennsylvania began enforcing its directory on October 19, 2026.3 Hawaii's starts on January 1, 2027.4

State Flavor Bans

State flavor bans cover flavored vapes in Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, Rhode Island, California and Utah, and in the District of Columbia, as of October 26, 2026.567891011 The mint vapes page explains which of those laws also cover menthol.

Age and Shipping Rules

Age and shipping rules are federal. The minimum age to buy any tobacco product, vapes included, has been 21 since December 20, 2019.12 Since October 21, 2021 the Postal Service has treated vapes as generally nonmailable.13

Who vapes.wiki Is For

vapes.wiki is for adults 21 and over, the legal age to buy any tobacco or nicotine product in the US. Nicotine is an addictive chemical, and nothing on vapes.wiki recommends vaping.
