Who Makes GeekVape?

GeekVape is made by Shenzhen Geekvape Technology, the company named in a 2021 GeekVape press release as SHENZHEN GEEKVAPE TECHNOLOGY CO., LTD.³

GeekVape's brand page says the company was founded in 2015 and claims operations in more than 70 countries, 6 manufacturing centers and over 8,000 employees.⁵ In a news item dated March 18, 2026, GeekVape said its wholly owned subsidiary Zhuhai Qisitech Co., Ltd. had received National Green Factory recognition for 2025.⁶

GeekVape runs its main site at geekvape.com, which it says is the only official GeekVape website, and a separate US site at us.geekvape.com.⁷

GeekVape History

GeekVape history, as the company tells it on its timeline, starts with its founding in 2015 and the Griffin RTA in 2016. In 2017 it announced the Aegis series, which it calls the first 100W vape with tri-proof protection, and it says revenue passed 1 billion RMB in 2019.⁵

GeekVape says the Aegis Legend 2 launched in 2021 and sold more than 1 million pieces in 5 months. Those are the company's own figures.

Later release dates come from Vaping360's product database rather than from GeekVape, whose product pages show none: the Aegis Legend 3 in March 2024, the Aegis Legend 5 in June 2025, the Aegis Hero 5 in July 2025, the Wenax Q2 in August 2025 and the Aegis Nano 3 in April 2026.⁴

GeekVape PMTA Claims

GeekVape's PMTA claims are its own. Its PMTA page says it has submitted PMTAs for all its products sold in the US, that several major products received Acceptance Letters and Filing Letters, and that some key products reached the final stage of review awaiting the FDA's decision.²

The page names the Digi Max, Digi Pro, Aegis Hero Q and GeekVape L200 as mainstream products, and a second statement on it says a variety of Aegis series products have been accepted for review and are in the filing review stage. None of the four devices covered here, the Wenax Q2, Aegis Hero 5, Aegis Legend 5 and Aegis Nano 3, is named there.

No GeekVape product is on the FDA's authorized list as of May 2026, which names products from only Logic, R.J. Reynolds Vapor, NJOY, JUUL Labs and Glas.¹ Under federal rules, a vape can't be legally sold without a marketing order.

GeekVape Kits Covered Here

GeekVape kits on this site come from its Aegis and Wenax lines, and GeekVape publishes their specs on its own product pages and spec sheets.⁸

The Wenax Q2 has 3 mL Q cartridges, a 1,250 mAh battery and a round color screen. The Aegis Nano 3 is a compact Aegis kit with a 2 mL N cartridge, a 1,600 mAh battery and airflow that GeekVape says can be set for MTL or RDL.⁹

The Aegis Hero 5 moves up to a 6.5 mL pod, a 2,000 mAh battery and 50W.¹⁰ The Aegis Legend 5 is a box mod on two external 18650 cells, rated from 5W to 200W, with an IP68 tri-proof rating that GeekVape describes as waterproof, shock-resistant and dustproof.¹¹

GeekVape and Geek Bar

GeekVape and Geek Bar are separate brand names.¹²

A January 2026 R.J. Reynolds complaint at the US International Trade Commission seeks exclusion orders against the Chinese makers of Elf Bar and Geek Bar and their US distributors. The excerpt International Trade Today published names no GeekVape company.¹²

How to Spot a Fake GeekVape

To spot a fake GeekVape, GeekVape says to find the authentication label, scratch off its coating to reveal a 14-digit anti-counterfeiting code made of letters and numbers, and enter that code on its Verify Your Devices page.¹³

GeekVape also says geekvape.com is the only official GeekVape website.⁷
