Who Makes Olit?

Olit is made by Shenzhen Kanger Technology Co., Ltd., the company known as Kangertech: the FAQ on Olit's site calls OLIT a sub-brand of Kanger, and the home page says Kanger was founded in 2007 and incubated the OLIT brand.²⁴

The site's footer credits OLIT VAPE Co., Ltd. and gives an address in Building A of Zhuoyue Baozhong Times Square, in Shenzhen's Bao'an District.⁵ Olit's 2023 brand deck lists a different Bao'an address, Building A3 of the DingBaoHong Green High-Tech Park.

The deck's history page marks two dates for the company: production licenses from the STMA in 2022, and the setup of OLIT as a sub-brand in 2023.⁶

Olit Products Before Hookalit

Olit products before Hookalit were a mix of disposables and other gear: the 2023 brand deck lists the rechargeable Kira, Kira Pro, Crystal 6000, JellyFish and JellyFish Pro disposables, the Olit 600 disposable, a Dripresso line (New STL, New Stam and Irbis) and the coil-less Lens pod system.⁶ None of the products in that deck is a Hookalit.

That year Olit took its products to The Vaper Expo UK at the NEC in Birmingham, held May 12 to 14, 2023, at booth D115.⁷

The Olit Hookalit Line

The Olit Hookalit line fills the current product menu on Olit's site, which lists the Hookalit, Hookalit Pro, Hookalit Mega and Hookalit Plus, though each product page is an image with no specs in text.³ Retail listings describe the Hookalit 40K as an e-hookah with shisha-style flavors.⁸

On April 23, 2026 Olit announced that the Hookalit 40K had a complete design upgrade, with a new look and refreshed packaging but the same performance, and said old and new packaging may both be in circulation during the change.⁹ The Hookalit Mega takes a different form: Olit's listed USA Store describes it as a disposable hookah head that screws onto a traditional shisha base.¹⁰

Olit US Distribution

For Olit US distribution, Olit's Network page points to a 'USA Store', which says it ships from a warehouse in West Sacramento, California.⁵¹¹ The same Network page lists Olit distributors in Paraguay, Brazil and Iraq.

Is Olit Legal in the US?

Olit is not FDA authorized: no Olit or Kanger product appears on the FDA's list of authorized e-cigarettes, which held 48 products as of August 28, 2026.¹ Without a marketing order, a vape can't be legally sold under federal rules.

Texas adds a state rule. Senate Bill 2024, in effect since September 1, 2025, bars selling e-cigarette products whose liquid is made wholly or partly in China or another US-designated foreign adversary, and a violation is a Class A misdemeanor; an industry challenge was still before the Fifth Circuit in May 2026.¹²¹³ Olit's maker is based in Shenzhen, and on December 29, 2025 Olit posted an item titled 'Texas Legal Review' in the Compliance section of its news page.¹⁴

How to Spot a Fake Olit

To spot a fake Olit, start with the Verify Product page on Olit's official site, which has a box for entering a product code to confirm the item is original.¹⁵

Olit's listed USA Store runs a separate check of its own: a 16-digit code sits under a silver scratch panel on the retail box, and the store checks it when the code is emailed to its service address.¹⁶ The store also says counterfeits are common on large marketplaces; that is the seller's claim, not Olit's.

Keep in mind Olit's April 2026 note that old and new Hookalit 40K packaging may both be in circulation.⁹
