Vaporesso XROS 5 Pods and Coils

The Vaporesso XROS 5 uses XROS series COREX 3.0 mesh pods, with a 0.6 ohm pod installed and a 0.8 ohm pod in the box in the US version, and it supports 0.4, 0.6, 0.8, 1.0 and 1.2 ohm pods.1

The pods hold 3 mL, and Vaporesso also lists TPD and CRC versions with 2 mL pods. The same COREX 3.0 pod line carries over to the newer Vaporesso XROS 6.

Vaporesso XROS 5 Screen, Battery and Draw

The Vaporesso XROS 5 screen is a 0.88 inch HD display with six color themes, and the battery is rated at 1,500 mAh with 3A super charging over USB Type-C, Vaporesso says.1

Vaporesso lists 'Auto Draw & Button Activation', so the XROS 5 fires either when you inhale or when you press the button. It measures 120 by 24.5 by 14.5 mm and weighs 73.7 g. The full list is on Vaporesso's XROS 5 page.

Vaporesso XROS 5 Release and the XROS 6

The Vaporesso XROS 5 came out in April 2025, according to Vaping360's product database, and the XROS 6 replaced it as the XROS flagship in 2026.3

The XROS 5 is still listed on Vaporesso's site. Next to the XROS 6, it has the smaller battery (1,500 mAh against 1,800 mAh) and the heavier body (73.7 g against 65 g).4

The Vaporesso XROS 5 is not FDA authorized, and under federal rules a vape without a marketing order can't be legally sold.2

Vaporesso says it filed PMTAs by September 2020 for six products, one of them the original XROS. The XROS 5 is not named on that page.5

How to Spot a Fake Vaporesso XROS 5

To spot a fake Vaporesso XROS 5, check the anti-counterfeiting label on the side of the box: tilt it under light to see the logo or lens text move, then scratch the coating and scan the QR code, making sure it opens a Vaporesso domain.6

You can also type the 14-digit or 12-digit code into Vaporesso's authenticity page. Vaporesso says a code is invalidated after more than 5 entries.
