Who Makes Vaporesso?

Vaporesso is made by Shenzhen Smoore Technology Limited, which Smoore's newsroom describes as the company behind the Vaporesso e-cigarette brands and part of Smoore International Holdings.³

Smoore went public on July 10, 2020, listing on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange as SMOORE International under the code 6969.HK, according to a PR Newswire release dated July 15, 2020.⁵

Smoore also builds devices for other brands. Vaping360 reported on January 30, 2025 that the NJOY ACE device and pods are made for NJOY under contract by Smoore.⁶

Vaporesso History and Product Lines

Vaporesso's history, by its own timeline, starts with the brand's founding in December 2015 and its debut TARGET series in September 2016. The timeline then lists ZERO in August 2018, the GEN series with the AXON chip in June 2019, the XROS series in August 2021, COREX cotton-core technology in May 2022 and the LUXE X series in August 2022.⁷

Its home page lists seven 2026 launches as new: the XROS 6 and XROS 6 Mini, ARMOUR OCTA, ARMOUR G2, PRIX, VIBE SE 2 and VAST.⁴ Vaporesso announced the XROS 6 in a press release dated April 12, 2026, which Vaping360 later published as sponsored content.⁸

Vaporesso kits on this site are all refillable pod systems from two lines, XROS and LUXE, and Vaporesso publishes the specs for each on its own product pages.⁹

The XROS 6 is the current XROS flagship, with an 1,800 mAh battery, a 0.88 inch TFT screen and 30W of output. The XROS 6 Mini keeps the 30W ceiling on a 1,600 mAh battery and comes in two lengths, the Mini and the Mini R.¹⁰

The XROS 5, which Vaping360's product database dates to April 2025, runs on 1,500 mAh and stays on Vaporesso's site even after the XROS 6 replaced it as flagship.¹¹ The LUXE Q3 is the low-power option, with a 20W ceiling, a 1,450 mAh battery and an LED battery light instead of a screen, and Vaporesso says it takes all LUXE Q pods.¹²

Vaporesso PMTA Filings

Vaporesso's PMTA claims come from the company and its parent. Vaporesso's PMTA page says it submitted its application by September 2020 and names six products: GEN S, XROS, ZERO, LUXE PM40, TAROT NANO and TARGET PM80.²

Smoore says that on September 1, 2020 Vaporesso became the first vaping brand to complete the filing stage of the FDA's review, citing the receipt the FDA provided.¹³ Vapouround had reported on July 29, 2020 that Vaporesso and Smoore planned to submit products.¹⁴

A filing is not an authorization. No Vaporesso product is on the FDA's authorized list as of May 2026, which names products from only Logic, R.J. Reynolds Vapor, NJOY, JUUL Labs and Glas, and the XROS 6, XROS 6 Mini and LUXE Q3 are not named on Vaporesso's PMTA page.¹

How to Spot a Fake Vaporesso

To spot a fake Vaporesso, Vaporesso says to start with the anti-counterfeiting label on the side of the package; three versions of the label are in circulation.¹⁵

Tilt the label under light first. On version 1 and 2 labels the V logo switches in a 360 degree pattern, and on the new label the 'V', 'A' and VAPORESSO 'OV' lens text should move. Then scratch off the coating and either scan the QR code, checking which domain it opens, or type the 14-digit or 12-digit code into Vaporesso's authenticity page. Vaporesso says a code entered more than 5 times is invalidated.

Smoore has also gone to court over fakes. Its newsroom says a New York federal judge granted Shenzhen Smoore Technology Limited a $5.4 million default judgment and a permanent injunction against more than 100 defendants accused of selling counterfeit Vaporesso and other Smoore-branded goods.³
