Voopoo DRAG X3

The Voopoo DRAG X3 is a refillable pod system that Voopoo announced on October 1, 2025, running up to 80 W on one external 18650 or 21700 battery with a 5 mL PnP X cartridge.12 It holds the owner's own e-liquid, so it has no puff count.

DRAG X3 Battery and Wattage

The DRAG X3 battery is not built in: the device takes one 18650 or 21700 cell, not included, and adjusts from 5 to 80 W.2 It charges at 5V/2A over Type-C, reads resistances from 0.1 to 3.0 ohm, and holding + and - together for 2 seconds switches the lock on or off.

The body is zinc alloy and leather with a TFT screen, according to Voopoo's DRAG X3 spec sheet. Voopoo's press release and spec sheet give slightly different screen sizes, so none is stated here.2

DRAG X3 PnP X Cartridge and Coils

The DRAG X3 PnP X cartridge holds 5 mL in the standard version and 2 mL in the TPD version, fills from the side and draws air from the top.2 It takes PnP X coils, with 0.15 and 0.3 ohm as the standard options, in DTL or MTL setups.

Voopoo recommends e-liquid of 50 to 70% VG with nicotine of 10 mg or less for these cartridges. It also says the PnP X platform gets up to 100 mL of e-liquid per coil and uses a 4-layer leak-proof design, figures from its own spec sheet.2

DRAG X3 vs DRAG S3

The DRAG X3 and DRAG S3 launched together, and the main difference is power: the S3 has a built-in 3,000 mAh battery, 5 to 60 W and a 0.96-inch TFT screen, while the X3 runs on an external cell and reaches 80 W.31

Voopoo's February 12, 2026 press release says a combined ARGUS G3, DRAG S3 and DRAG X3 Series entry won Gold at the London Design Awards 2025.4 For more power, the DRAG 6 box mod reaches 220 W on two built-in cells.5

The DRAG X3 can't be legally sold under federal rules without an FDA marketing order, and it has none as of October 2026.6 Voopoo's PMTA page lists an earlier DRAG X Mod Pod among its "Hot Products" but says nothing about the X3.7

Unauthorized e-cigarettes can be detained at the border under FDA Import Alert 98-07, which applies to such products in general.8
