Who Makes Cali Bars?

Cali Bars is tied to Access Vapor LLC d/b/a Cali Pods by FDA's September 14, 2023 warning letter, which found that the company owns and operates calivapepods.com, the site that sent customers to a retailer selling Cali Bars disposables.1

The letter was addressed to the company at 7519 Currency Drive in Orlando, Florida. The company's own fact sheet for the Cali UL20000 Black Series is headed 'MADE BY CALI PODS'.3

Calivapepods.com is a business-to-business shop. It asks for a company name and a business certificate to open an account and shows prices only after login, and it sells its disposables in prepacks of 6.45

Cali Bars and FDA Warning Letters

Cali Bars appears in 12 letters in FDA's warning-letter database, searched on October 26, 2026, and one of them went to the company FDA links to the brand.6

In that September 14, 2023 letter to Access Vapor LLC d/b/a Cali Pods, FDA said calivapepods.com redirected customers to the retailer calipodsonline.com, where Cali Bars Disposable Watermelon and Cali Bars V2 Disposable Blueberry were listed without a marketing authorization order. The letter is on FDA's page for warning letter 664979.1

The other 11 letters went to retailers: ZiipStock, Vape Shop and The Vape Giant on September 14, 2023; VapeOtine and Vapor Authority, Inc. on November 8, 2023; Vape Hoop and M N T LLC d/b/a ZMARKSTHESPOT on December 12, 2023; AT Vapors LLC and General Vape on January 31, 2024; Vapemarkdown.com on February 27, 2024; and Smok City Inc. dba SmokCity on April 30, 2024.6

Those letters named the Cali Bars 2K, 4500, 6000 and V2 6000. No letter naming the current UL20000, UL8000, XLT40K or Switch was found, and no import alert, seizure, state action or lawsuit naming Cali turned up as of October 26, 2026.

Why FDA Singled Out Cali Bars

FDA singled out Cali Bars on November 9, 2023, when it announced warning letters to online retailers and said a review of retail sales data and early youth survey data had identified Bang, Cali Bars and Lava as popular or youth-appealing brands.7

Vaping360 reported that FDA's warning letters to 11 online retailers in December 2023 also cited the Cali brand. Cali was not among the brands Vaping360 listed for an FDA seizure at the Los Angeles airport that same month.8

Cali Bars Lineup in 2026

The Cali Bars lineup in 2026 goes by the Cali name: on October 26, 2026 the Cali Pods site listed Cali Switch, Cali XLT40K, Cali UL20K, Cali UL20000, Cali UL8000, Cali UL3000 and Cali Plus devices, along with Cali 100ml e-liquid and Cali Salt Nic.9

The catalog no longer shows the Cali Bars 4500 or Cali Bars V2 6000 that FDA cited in 2023 and 2024, but it does list a clearance Cali Ultra disposable of about 3,200 puffs.5 Vaping360 dates the Cali UL20000 Black Series to August 2024.10

Of the three Cali disposables covered on this site, the Cali XLT 40K has the highest rating, approximately 40,000 puffs.11 The Cali Switch 50K is a prefilled pod kit that the maker lists as compatible with Foger pods, and the Cali UL20000 and Cali UL8000 share most of their flavors.12

Cali Bars Flavors and Series

Cali Bars flavors on the main product pages run from 14 on the Switch to 30 on the UL20000, and Cali Pods also sells themed series on top of those lists.13

The UL20K line comes in a Black Series of 15 flavors, a Mint Series of 5 and a Sour Series of 6, and the XLT40K has its own Sour Series of six.14 The Black Series fact sheet packs 6 devices to a carton and 20 cartons to a master case.3
