Fifty Bar Devices

Fifty Bar sold two sizes of disposable on its own site in 2026, the 20K in several color series and collaborations and the smaller 6500 Original Series, and Vaping360 lists a newer model called the Air.

Fifty Bar Flavors by Family

Fifty Bar flavors split by series: the Black Series carries most of the dessert and tobacco flavors, while the White and Midnight series carry fruit, mint and ice.

Who Makes Fifty Bar?

Fifty Bar is sold by an Austin, Texas business that the FTC calls Lucky Bar Holdings LLC. The FTC addressed its July 6, 2026 letter about Fifty Bar products to that company at 4500 Pleasant Valley Road, Suite 105, to the attention of its manager and chief financial officer.2

FDA's warning letter of September 12, 2024 used a longer name for the firm at the same Austin address: Beard Management Inc. d/b/a Beard Vape Co. d/b/a Lucky Bar Holdings, d/b/a Fifty Bar. It was addressed to four people at the firm, with copies to Beard Vape Co. companies in Los Angeles and Marina Del Rey, California, to Beard Management Inc. and to Lucky Bar Holdings LLC at a second Austin address.1

Press coverage treats Fifty Bar as a founder-run business: the New York Post and IBTimes both describe the brand's founder as its owner.45 Fifty Bar itself says its devices are assembled in Thousand Oaks, California, with American-made e-liquids formulated by Beard Vape Co., and that it has operations in Texas, California, Ohio and Virginia.6

Fifty Bar's Made in USA Claims and the FTC Letter

Fifty Bar's Made in USA claims sit at the top of its marketing: its home page, as archived on June 13, 2026, called it 'The Only Disposable Built in the USA' and said it was the first disposable vape built in the USA and filled with American-made e-liquid.7

On July 6, 2026 the FTC sent Lucky Bar Holdings a warning letter over that wording. Staff wrote that they had reason to believe the company may be importing the Fifty Bar product in whole or in significant part while making unqualified Made in the USA claims, cited lines such as 'Proudly made in the USA' from its website, social media and labels, and asked the company to contact them within five business days.2

The letter says it is not a formal finding of a violation, but it warns that breaking the Made in USA Labeling Rule can bring civil penalties of up to 53,088 dollars per violation. Tobacco Reporter reported on July 8, 2026 that seven vape companies, Lucky Bar Holdings among them, had received such letters, with no formal enforcement action announced.8

Press reports describe a supply chain that runs through China. The New York Post reported on March 20, 2025 that Fifty Bar's disposables are manufactured in Shenzhen, then filled with e-liquid in California, packaged and shipped, and that the founder told Arizona state senators at a February 12, 2025 hearing that the company sources parts from China.4 IBTimes, republishing Latin Times, reported the same day that he had lobbied against an Arizona bill banning Chinese-made disposables and said he could not sell his products in Arizona if it passed.5

Fifty Bar's Advocacy page sets the goal of making every component of its disposables in the United States within 24 months.6

Fifty Bar's FDA Warning Letter

Fifty Bar's FDA warning letter came from the agency's Center for Tobacco Products, dated September 12, 2024 and posted the next day, and it covered three products: the Fifty Bar 6500 Puff Rechargeable Disposable in Mint, Vanilla Custard and Pacific Cooler.1

FDA said those products lacked a marketing authorization order and were adulterated and misbranded. The letter also carries the agency's standard notice that imported tobacco products that appear adulterated or misbranded may be detained or refused admission. The full text is on FDA's page for warning letter 692147.

No FDA import alert or seizure naming Fifty Bar was found, and no lawsuit naming Fifty Bar or Lucky Bar Holdings turned up as of October 26, 2026. Without a marketing order, a Fifty Bar device can't be legally sold under federal rules.3

Fifty Bar Nicotine and Nixodine

Fifty Bar nicotine levels vary by series, according to FiftyBars.com, an independent retailer and not the maker: it says the Silver Series uses 2% (20 mg) nicotine against 50 mg for the rest of the range, and that the Nixodine version contains no nicotine.9

Vaping360's brand database dates a 20K Nixodine model to August 2024.10 The New York Post reported on July 17, 2026 that Fifty Bar products had appeared on state registries containing nixodine, a nicotine alternative sold as nicotine-free, without naming the states.11

Fifty Bar Series and Release Dates

Fifty Bar series on the brand's site in June 2026 were the Black, White, Midnight and Original (6,500 puff) lines, plus collaborations with Humble, Fruitia and Hidden Hills.7 The Fifty Bar 20K covers the color series and the collaborations, and the Fifty Bar 6500 is the Original Series.

Vaping360's brand database gives release months for the newer lines: Fifty Bar x Hidden Hills in July 2024, the 20K Nixodine in August 2024, the Black and White Series and the Fifty Bar Mini in March 2025, the Silver Series in August 2025, the Midnight Series in November 2025, the Humble 20K in December 2025 and the Fifty Bar Air in September 2026.10

On October 26, 2026 the official site, thefiftybar.com, returned an HTTP 503 error with a page titled Maintenance, so the archived copies from April to June 2026 are the latest maker pages cited here.12

How to Spot a Fake Fifty Bar

To spot a fake Fifty Bar there is no maker code check to rely on: FiftyBars.com, an independent retailer, says the brand does not run an online code checker, and no authenticity page from Fifty Bar itself was found.13

The retailer's advice is to check the shrink wrap, the print quality and the weight, to make sure the device matches the series named on its box, and to compare the specs and nicotine strength with what was ordered.
