California's complaint puts the nicotine in a full Mello at about 750 mg and, in November 2024, called the Mello the newest and biggest Flum product.2

Is the Flum Mello Legal in the US?
The Flum Mello can't be legally sold under federal rules without an FDA marketing order, and it has none; no Flum product is on the FDA's authorized list, current as of August 28, 2026.4
The FDA has warned two sellers over it: Performance Plus Marketing Inc. on June 18, 2025, over the Mello 20000 in Blue Razz Icy, Cool Mint and Sour Apple Icy, and chubbysmoke.com on September 18, 2025, over the Flum Mello 20K, as the FDA's June 2025 letter shows.35
The Mello is also among the FLUM products discussed in California's January 2025 suit over flavored sales.2

The Flum Mello and Flum Pebble differ most in capacity: Flum lists the Mello at up to 20,000 puffs and 15 mL against the Pebble's 6,000 puffs and 10 mL, and gives the Mello a 650 mAh battery to the Pebble's 500 mAh.1
