Who Makes Air Bar?

Air Bar does not name the company behind it on its own site, which describes Air Bar only as a nicotine disposable vape company established in 2019, and two outside sources give different answers.3

New York magazine reported on July 12, 2022 that Air Bar was controlled by Shenzhen Goldreams Technology Co., Ltd, that its US marketer was a wholesaler near the Dallas airport, and that no one knew who really owned it.4 Vaping360's brand page says Air Bar is manufactured by Suorin.5

The two accounts may conflict, or may describe different layers of the business, and neither is confirmed by Air Bar. This page reports both and picks neither.

Air Bar and the US Market

Air Bar's footer, on every page of airbar.com, reads: 'Products displayed on Air Bar website are intended for international market, not for U.S. market.'2

Its wholesale page says the company strives to comply with FDA (PACT Act), TPD and CLP rules.6 Four years earlier, New York magazine described Air Bar as one of the popular flavored disposables that New York smoke shops sold from under the counter.4

Air Bar and the FDA

Air Bar has no product on the FDA's list of authorized e-cigarettes, current as of August 28, 2026, so its devices can't be legally sold under federal rules without a marketing order.1

Searches of FDA's warning-letter database on October 26, 2026 for 'Air Bar' and 'Air Bar Diamond' returned no letters.7 A search for Suorin returned one letter, dated July 10, 2024, to LA Vapor Inc. about Suorin Air Mod Pod Kits, which is a different product.8

No FDA import alert, seizure, state action or lawsuit naming Air Bar was found as of October 26, 2026.

Air Bar History and Discontinued Devices

Air Bar history, as its press page tells it, includes a BPC honeycomb mesh coil released on May 11, 2023, a rebrand and the Atron launch on November 1, 2023, PHC pre-heating coil technology in the AB7500 and AB10000 on January 19, 2024, and PTC technology in the Diamond Box in February 2024.9

All four of those models are now on Air Bar's Discontinued Devices page, which says it stopped producing and distributing BOX 5000, Lux, Lux+, M-Lux, MAX, AB7500, AB10000, Atron and Diamond Box.10 The Air Bar Lux and Air Bar Max pages cover two of them.

The current menu lists the AB5000, Aura, Diamond, Diamond Spark, Gem, Mini, Nano, Nex, Nex Pearl Edition, Stick, Stick Hookah and Stick Sunset, plus 0% nicotine devices, which the FAQ says are the Nex and Mini.211 The FAQ also says every Air Bar device is draw-activated.

Air Bar Release Dates and Specs

Air Bar release dates come mainly from Vaping360's database, which lists the Nex Pearl in March 2023, the AB5000 in October 2023, the Diamond Box 20000 in February 2024, the Diamond Plus in August 2024, the Nano 1500 in November 2024, the Aura 25K in January 2025, the Diamond Spark in May 2025 and the Air Bar Gem 50K in April 2026.5

Air Bar's own spec images list the AB5000 at up to 5,000 puffs with a 1,500 mAh battery and 10 mL of e-liquid, and the Diamond Spark at up to 15,000 puffs with a rechargeable 600 mAh battery and 17 mL.12 The Air Bar Diamond is rated at up to 500 puffs, and the Gem at up to 50,000.

How to Spot a Fake Air Bar

To spot a fake Air Bar, the brand says each package carries a seal with a holographic logo, a QR code that links to the verification page on airbar.com, and a scratch-off area that reveals a code to enter in its official database.13
