Fume Recharge Battery and Charging

The Fume Recharge battery is a 700 mAh cell that charges over USB Type-C, according to Fume's Recharge page, which also gives 11 mL of e-liquid and a 5K puff rating.¹ Fume's pages for the Extra and Ultra give no charging details at all.

On fume.com the product is titled 'Fume Recharge 5% Nic 5000 Puffs'.²

Fume Recharge Zero Models

Fume Recharge Zero models also appear in Fume's online store: a Recharge Zero Plus rated at 10,000 puffs and a Recharge Zero 5K.³ They are separate listings from the Recharge covered on this page.

The Recharge itself carries the '5%' nicotine figure that a proposed class action, filed against QR Joy on April 11, 2025, said misleads buyers.⁴ Law360 reported the complaint's dismissal as a 'shotgun' pleading on October 2, 2025, and the docket shows the case closed on July 10, 2026.⁵

Is the Fume Recharge Legal in the US?

The Fume Recharge has no FDA marketing order, so it can't be legally sold under federal rules, and FDA's Import Alert 98-07 lets the agency detain unauthorized e-cigarettes at the border.⁶ Pennsylvania began enforcing Act 57 against unlisted products on October 19, 2026, and Fume is not on the state's ENDS Directory.⁷

No FDA warning letter addressed to QR Joy, the Florida company that markets Fume, was found in the records checked as of October 26, 2026.⁸

Fume Recharge vs Fume Pro

The Fume Recharge and the Fume Pro are both rechargeable, but Fume rates the Pro at 30,000 puffs, six times the Recharge's 5,000, and gives it a display screen and dual mesh coil.⁹ The Pro also comes in 2% and 5% versions, while the Recharge is sold at 5%.

For a lower rating, the Fume Infinity Plus sits at 4,500 puffs.

To spot a fake Fume Recharge, use the code check on Fume's Verify Your Product page, which Fume says confirms an original, authentic Fume product.¹⁰ Fume's FAQ also warns of counterfeits from unauthorized sellers.¹¹
